Why should I whiten my teeth?

Teeth whitening is by far the most popular cosmetic dental procedure. Dental Whitening procedures fit within almost any budget, and the results are quick. Almost everyone is a candidate for teeth whitening or teeth bleaching. However, some dark teeth are much more resistant to whitening procedures. If you have ever wished your smile was whiter and brighter, teeth whitening might be right for you.

What is the best way to whiten
my teeth?

Our professional teeth whitening treatments utilize a powerful yet safe whitening gel that is applied to the surface of your teeth. This gel works to lighten the appearance of stains, discoloration, and yellowing on the tooth enamel. We give our dental family options when it comes to brightening your smile

What is the Process?

In-Office Whitening

You’ll love our in-office whitening treatments. We start by creating whitening trays that are custom made just for you. They’ll fit comfortably and snugly. When filled with a concentrated 35% whitening gel, the brightness of your smile will improve. Treatments take about an hour to complete and are completely non-invasive.

Take-Home Trays

We provide clear plastic trays for you to take and whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home. We provide syringes of whitening gel for your trays. As you wear your trays with the gel in them for 30 minutes to an hour, the peroxide gel enters your teeth and whitens your teeth from the inside-out. One of the benefits of having these trays is that you only need to purchase more gel syringes instead of a whole new system when running out of the gel.

FAQs

Will whitening make my teeth sensitive?

Tooth sensitivity is a common concern when considering teeth whitening. Some people may have teeth that are sensitive to peroxide. Your teeth may begin to ache during the whitening procedure, or you may feel some discomfort when drinking or eating hot or cold products. This sensitivity is usually short-term and goes away with time.

How white can I get my teeth?

With professional whitening, you can expect your teeth will get on average 3 to 5 shades whiter. If your teeth are already very bright to start with, they may only get a couple of shades lighter as there is a limit to how white natural teeth can get. For people who want their teeth whiter than nature will allow or people who want the maximum results immediately, porcelain veneers or no-prep veneers are excellent treatment options. Porcelain veneers are not limited to nature’s plateaus, and they give you the freedom to choose any shade you desire for your smile.
